Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 1 Pkg Small naan flatbreads
  • 1 Lb Lean ground turkey
  • 1 med carrot
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1/2 white onion
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 1 tsp minced garlic clove
  • juice of one lime
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 red chili
  • salt & pepper
  • olive oil
  • sprouts and micro greens for topping

Method

  1. Begin by placing the turkey into a mixing bowl.
  2. Use a food processor to finely chop up the onion, carrot, and celery. Add this mixture to the turkey.
  3. Add the egg and seasonings to the turkey mince, mix with your hands, form patties, sprinkle with paprika and chill for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Heat a grill on medium to high heat, using non-stick spray. Throw the patties on the grill and brown each side, cook through, remove to rest.
  5. Mix yogurt with lime juice, cilantro, garlic, onion powder, and salt and pepper. Combine and set aside.
  6. While patties are resting, drizzle the naan breads with olive oil and grill until warm and a little toasted.
  7. Place a naan on each plate, top with a spoonful of yogurt sauce, sprouts, turkey patty, then micro greens, avocado, more sauce, more chopped cilantro, finely sliced red chili, and an extra squeeze of lime juice and I always do a drizzle of olive oil to finish.
