Spiced Fig and Date Galette with Tahini and Caramel Drizzle
The Delicious Fall Dessert That's Easier Than Pie

Spice Mix
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp dry ginger
- 1 tsp orange zest
Galette & Filling
- 1 carton fresh figs
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh dates
- 1 pre-made, frozen pie crust
- Tahini for drizzling
- Caramel sauce for drizzling
- 2 tbsp chopped pistachios for topping
- 1 egg, whisked
Heat oven to 350
Mix the spices together
Wash and slice figs in half, add spice mix and toss gently to combine.
Layout pie crust on a parchment and/or sheet tray. Make sure it’s thoruoughly thawed. Brush crust with egg.
Pour figs into the center of the crust and fold in the edges around the figs. Brush the underside of the edges with the egg. Bake for 45 minutes.
Remove and let cool for 15 minutes, drizzle with tahini and caramel, sprinkle pistachios over the top and serve.
